Decision for rejection of PTI founder, Bushra Bibi acquittal pleas in 100 million pounds corruption case challenged in IHC

Islamabad: PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have challenged in Islamabad High Court (IHC) the decision of rejection of their acquittal pleas in 100 million pounds corruption case.The appeal plea was filed in IHC against rejection of their acquittal plea in 100 million pounds corruption case by Accountability Court (AC) with which September 9 decision of AC has been attached.It was taken plea in the petition that acquittal met the norms of merit which was not given to us by AC. There are no such evidence or material on the basis of which sentence was announced. The court is requested to nullify AC decision and acquit Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi from the case.Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi while requesting for halting the trial of the case filed miscellaneous petition for stay order.The miscellaneous plea said trial of AC be stopped till the decision of acquittal plea.
