Islamabad: Decision has been taken to issue digital cards to vehicles in Islamabad to end the embarrassment of citizens for keeping vehicles documents with them.

Now the owners of vehicles will not need to keep documents , l cards and files with them. Digital book of the vehicle will be preserved in the mobile wallet of owner of digital book.

All details of traffic challan will be available in digital book. Digital cards will be linked to all digital parking plazas of the city.

Park the vehicle in parking plazas even if the owner has no money . Parking plaza fee will also be paid out of digital card of the vehicle.

Director Excise Bilal Azam confirmed the reports about digital card saying now the digital cards of vehicles will be introduced. The process of transfer of vehicles is also being digitalized. Bio metric verification in connection with transfer of vehicle will be made on mobile while sitting in home.
