Lahore: Decision has been taken to lift ban on sui gas connection all over the country.

Gas connection will be given on the basis of LNG instead of natural gas.

As per media reports Sui Northern Company has sent proposals to federation for providing connections on the basis of LNG.

Proposal was given to obtain heavy security for providing connection on LNG.

It has been proposed that stamp paper be obtained from consumers before issuance of demand notice of connection.

According to sources the consumers will give undertaking on stamp paper for obtaining connection on LNG tariff. Affidavit will be taken about not challenging the LNG tariff on any platform.

Sources further said the connection will be given to consumers who fulfill the conditions of the federation. Consumers will be able to get connection on Sui Northern Gas company net work.

It is pertinent to mention here connections are being provided only against LNG network schemes.
