Karachi: Gulberg Town Chairman *Nusrat Ullah* visited the Delhi Government School and expressed solidarity with students and teachers following the sealing of the school building, which has disrupted the education of thousands of students.

Students, both boys and girls, also held an assembly outside the school and raised their concerns over the uncertainty surrounding their education and academic year.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Nusrat Ullah said that there was a time when the *Delhi Government School was regarded among Karachi's leading government schools, and even ministers used to recommend admissions for students*. However, due to the Sindh government's lack of attention and ineffective policies, thousands of students are now facing uncertainty about their educational future.

He said that the issue surrounding the school building has continued since *2007*, and the repeated disruption of the school has adversely affected students, teachers and the overall standard of education.

'The real question is: who will save the academic year of these children?*' Nusrat Ullah asked.

He urged the Sindh government to immediately resolve any issue related to the ownership or legal status of the school building so that the education of thousands of students does not suffer.

Nusrat Ullah further stated that Jamaat-e-Islami stands with the students and will continue to raise its voice for their right to education.

UC Chairman Zubair Wali and Vice Chairman Irfan Shah were also present on the occasion.
