Karachi: Human rights activists and supporters of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui once again staged a peaceful demo outside the FMC Carswell jail demanding her release.
Hundreds of men, women and children attended the demo. As per information received from Texas, noted religious scholar Imam Omar Suleiman also addressed the demo. It may be noted that the jail administration is not giving permission to Imam Omar Suleiman to meet Aafia Siddiqui.
However, a plan B has already chalked out for Aafia Siddiqui release. Her lawyer Clive Smith has already said that sexual violence on Dr Aafia in the jail has been continuing and she is braving tougher situation than the prisoners of notorious Guantanamo Bay.
