Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar (@MIshaqDar50) chaired the first meeting of the Committee on Economic Management Reforms today.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of the government's holistic economic plans across key sectors, including energy, social development, and governance, and discussed the roles of the Planning Commission and other relevant ministries.
Senator Dar emphasized the importance of prioritizing sectors that could act as triggers for higher and more inclusive economic growth.
Attendees included the Minister for Planning, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, NC SIFC, the Secretary Planning, and other officials. The Ministers of Finance, Economic Affairs Division (EAD), and Climate Change joined the meeting virtually.
