Islamabad: Government employees like parliamentarians will provide details of their assets under the Civil Service Act Amendment Bill (CSAAB) passed in Senate unanimously on Thursday.

Details of assets will be put to display at website.

Chairman cabinet committee Senator Rana Mehmood ul Hassan presented report of committee with reference to civil servant act amendment bill in Senate.

Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said the way the parliamentarians file the details of their assets in election commission every year, likewise it was being demanded by Amnesty International and other institutions that details of assets of government employees from grade 17 to 22 be also placed on website .

This bill has been approved by National Assembly and Senate committee has also approved it after long debate.

Law minister presented CSAAB in Senate for approval. The bill was approved unanimously after the chairman Senate sought para wise opinion from the Senators.
