JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman while opposing PTI plea for resignations from parliament has proposed to use forum of parliament in effective way before coming on roads.
Sources said majority of PTI parliamentarians agreed on not leaving platform of parliament.
As per sources Maulana Fazl raised question if PTI members resign then will they resign from KP assembly as well. Will PTI end its government in KP.
Sources said PTI leadership remained silent on these questions.
Sources indicated Maulana Fazl gave opinion that opposition parties should use the platform of parliament effectively before going to streets.
It was agreed in the meeting to give tough time to government on the matters related to quorum and legislation.
Opposition parties agreed on continuing cooperation in National Assembly, Senate and provincial assemblies.
It was also agreed to move ahead unanimously with mutual consultation in NA and Senate.
A joint strategy will be evolved immediately keeping in view government agenda.
It has been decided to form a joint constitutional committee of opposition in the event of any constitutional amendment. It will include Kamran Murtaza, Suleman Akram Raja, Ali Zafar and other leaders.
No On the matter of anti government movement outside parliament opposition parties could not reach a consensus opinion .
As per sources, all parties will consult their core committees and executive councils on the matters of road politics and public meetings.
It was also proposed in the meeting that anti government movement be launched with the willingness and consensus of all parties.
On the other said sources said Maulana Fazl has not said yes to participate in long march on September 27.
About PPP some leaders said PPP is in a quandary being ally of PML-N
