Istanbul: The third day of ongoing talks between Pakistan and Afghan Taliban in Istanbul have confronted with difficulties.

According to news reports, the logical and rational demands tabled by Pakistan are valid. However, the delegation of the Afghan Taliban is not ready to fully accept these demands.

These further said the host countries also acknowledge that Pakistani demands are reasonable and legitimate. Interestingly, the Afghan Taliban delegation also believes that it is justified to accept these demands.

The Afghan Taliban delegation is frequently approaching the Kabul administration and moving ahead under its directives. It would be justified to say that they are being controlled from Kabul.

The Pakistani delegation has repeatedly made it clear that it is in the interest of everybody to accept these demands and even the host countries have also explained the same to the Afghan delegation. However, there is no encouraging response from the Kabul administration, which is creating a deadlock.

It seems that some elements in Kabul are working on some other agenda. But the stance of the Pakistani delegation remains logical, strong and indispensable for peace.

On third day, talks between the two sides lasted for eighteen hours in which the Afghan Taliban delegation repeatedly agreed to Pakistan's logical and legitimate demand for taking a firm and decisive action against the terrorists, TTP and terrorism.

Sources further said illogical and illegitimate advice received from Kabul during the talks is responsible for the inconclusiveness of these talks. However, Pakistan and the hosts still want to resolve these complicated issues with sagacity and seriousness.

According to sources, last effort is being made to somehow resolve this issue through logic and dialogue despite intransigency by the Taliban and the negotiations are moving ahead towards final phase.
