Lahore: District Kutchery Lahore has approved physical remand for four days in respect of columnist, analyst Orya Maqbool Jan in FIA cyber crime case.Judicial magistrate Imran Abid announced reserved decision.The court directed that investigating officer should present report before it on next hearing.FIA Cyber crime wing earlier presented Orya Maqbool Jan in district kutchery.Mian Ishfaq, counsel for Orya Maqbool Jan also reached district kutchery.FIA requested for 14 days physical remand.Counsel Mian Ali Ishfaq said Orya Maqbool Jan has not insulted any institution. False and baseless case was registered against him. FIA has no evidence in this regard. He may be discharged from this case.Counsel Mian Ali Ishfaq said It is only defamation claim as per what is written in the context of FIA .Investigating officer declared all the allegations correct.Counsel for FIA told the court Orya Maqbool Jan is not cooperating in investigation. This is court of law. Here law should be discussed r ather than delivering speeches.Counsel for FIA further said we have solid evidence.Orya Maqbool jan came to rostrum.He told the court that I have given passwords of all my accounts to FIA.He said he started writing from 2001. Have I stolen vehicle of some one which has to be recovered from me. My all sons are abroad. They say to me I should go abroad. I have told them I have to live and die in this country.I would have gone abroad since long before Had I wanted to go therein, he stated.
