Islamabad: Dr Aafia Siddiqui case has been fixed for hearing in Federal Constitutional Court (FCC). Appeal against contempt of court proceedings in respect of Prime Minister and cabinet has also been fixed for hearing.

A two members bench of FCC led by Chief Justice Amin ud Din Khan will hear the case on June 16. As per media report, Federal government has already challenged the decision of initiation of proceedings against PM and cabinet.

It is pertinent to mention here Islamabad High Court (IHC) had ordered to initiate contempt of court proceedings due to non-compliance of orders in Dr Aafia Siddiqui case.
