Islamabad: Clive Smith counsel for Dr Aafia Siddiqui in US has decided to come to Pakistan in connection with case of release and return of Dr Aafia Siddiqui to Pakistan.
Justice Ejaz Ishaq Khan of Islamabad High Court (IHC) took up the case for hearing Monday.
Newly appointed Additional Attorney General (AAG) Omar Aslam could not appear in the court.
During the hearing of the case counsel Imran Shafiq advocate informed the court Clive Smith is coming to Pakistan on May 4.
The court accepted plea of Imran Shafiq advocate for giving time in connection with his consultation with Clive Smith.
Counsel Imran Shafiq requested the court Clive Smith is coming to Pakistan on May 4. Next hearing be fixed on May 6.
The court inquired from law officer and ministry of foreign affairs authorities have they not any objection if hearing is fixed on May 6.
Law office replied we have no objection. Hearing be fixed on May 6.
IHC adjourned the hearing of Dr Aafia Siddiqui case till May 6.
