Earthquake of 5.2 magnitude jolts Rawalpindi-Islamabad

Islamabad: Earth quake tremors were felt in Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Monday.

According to the Pakistan Meteo?ological Department a strong, 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The epicentre was located near the Tajikistan?injiang border region and had a depth of 128 kilometres.

People came out of homes and offices particularly high rise buildings reciting the Kalma Tayyaba.

No loss to life or damage to property has been reported so far.
