ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has suspended decision of Lahore High Court (LHC) and Election Commission (EC) notification on EC appeal against decision of formation of Election Tribunals (ETs).SC suspended EC April 26 notification.The SC said in order the process of consultation will become possible after appointment of new chief justice. The notification issued by EC are suspended. The consultation should be made in transparent manner. As soon as the process of appointment of chief justice completes EC should make consultation immediately.According to order the decision of LHC and notification of EC will remain suspended till the next hearing.On raising objection by Niaz Ullah Niazi over presence of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) in the bench CJP Qazi Faez Isa reprimanded him.The CJP remarked enough is enough. We will send the matter to Pakistan Bar Council. Too much court scandalization has been made. We will ask for action on such attitude. I was included in 2-member bench and then the objectio n was not raised. if there was objection , it should have been raised from the first day. Today objection was raised verbally here. Are we sitting here for our insult. I have not constituted bench. Committee has constituted bench.
