Skardu: Election Commission Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) while announcing decisions on petitions pertaining to electoral disputes has rejected objections on results of 6 constituencies in GB.

According to decision issued by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) GB the petition for recounting on GBA-17 Diamir 3 was rejected and victory of PPP candidate Muhammad Nasim has been maintained.

As per media report, following the rejection of objection in GBA 18, Diamir 4 PML-N candidate Kafayat Ur Rehman maintained his seat.. Objection in GBA-14 Astore-11 was also rejected and success of Rana Muhammad Farooq of PML-N was kept maintained.

The success of Abdul Jahan of PML-N has been kept maintained in GBA-20, Ghazar 11. The success of Syed Jalal Shah of PPP was kept maintained in GBA-19 Ghazar-1.

Following rejection of objection in GBA-15, Diamir-1 the success of independent candidate Dilpazir was kept maintained. In GBA-5, the victory of Nagar-1 the victory of Zulfiqar Ali Murad of PPP has been maintained.

In GBA-16, Dia Mir -2 the petition of independent candidate Imam Malik has been rejected for re-polling. However order for recounting has been given.
