Islamabad: Terming the Augst 5 protest successful , PTI chairman Barrister Gohar said Wednesday that people came on roads and raised voice.

He said this while talking to media-men in parliament house forceful protest was staged in 170 districts, all tehsils and union councils in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

We are peaceful people. Yesterday protest took place peacefully . People proved on August 5 they are with Imran Khan.

This is the first time that there is such Election Commission (EC) which itself is on stay. EC has no powers to issue notification directly.

He held EC issued notification regarding disqualification of 3 opposition leaders unconstitutionally.

" We will challenge this step of EC. We have not been heard. EC should have heard us. We will not nominate any one in place of three opposition leaders,, he announced.
