Islamabad: Election Commission (EC) has summoned Senator Talal Chaudhry on January 8 for violating election code of conduct.

According to cause list issued by EC state minister for interior Talal Chaudhry has been summoned on January 8 through notice issued to him for violating election code of conduct in by polls in NA-96 Faisalabad.

PML-N candidate from this constituency , Bilal Chaudhry has also been issued notice .

EC had taken notice on the report of district monitoring officer.

District Monitoring officer had imposed fine of Rs 50000 on state minister and candidate for participating in corner meeting.
