Islamabad: Electricity tariff for K-Electric consumers is likely to be scaled down.

K-Electric has filed application seeking reduction in tariff to the extent of Rs 4.69 per unit.

Authority will hear K-Electric petition on June 23 instead of June 19.

Petition has been filed under head of Monthly Fuel Price Adjustment.

Consumers will get relief of Rs 7.17 billion if the petition seeking reduction in tariff is approved.
