Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said in perspective of prevailing situation in Azad Kashmir if the polls are ahead then bringing the controversial matters to court of people is basic requirement of democratic thinking.

The designs of the elements who are out to impose their ideology through looting and massacring instead of public opinion are some thing else.

He said in his tweet that incidents like martyrdom of police and security personnel and desecration of their bodies indicate this these elements are not ready to pursue the path of public opinion that is election.

If any person or group will try to impose its unconstitutional and anti state agenda through violence or armed bands then the state will implement law with full force.

People of Kashmir will be given opportunity for free expression of their opinion , he said the decisions should be made as per public opinion.
