Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry visited the Capital Elite Police Training Center.Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the performance of the Capital Elite Training Course and the CTD Course, and inspected rappelling and other physical exercises. He also reviewed the developmental and professional aspects of the Capital Elite Police Training Center and inspected the available training facilities.Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met the officers and instructors of the Capital Elite Training Center, appreciated their performance, and stressed the need to further improve the training and response time of the Elite Force in light of the threats posed by terrorism and extremism. He praised the skills and professional abilities of the under-training personnel and stated that the Elite Training School will play a key role in enhancing the operational capacity of the security forces.Inspector General Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi briefed the Federal Interior Minister on the ongoing training activities, security arrangements, and operational readiness at the Capital Elite Training School. The briefing highlighted that special focus is being given to improving the firing skills of the trainees.Federal Secretary Interior, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, DIGs, and other relevant police officers were also present on the occasion.
