Lahore: Energy department has presented new important recommendations to Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz in view of energy crisis.

As per media reports, recommendations have been made for observing holidays till April 15 in educational institutions in Punjab.

It has also been proposed that coupon or digital system be introduced for just distribution of petrol and diesel. Providing fuel to limited number of vehicles in specific days has also been proposed.

Sources said that it has been recommended stringent directives on work from home be issued for private institutions. Proposal has been given for complete ban on unnecessary functions.

It has been recommended the fares of metro and bus service be increased.

The plan for keeping LED Bill boards and lights off is also included in plan.

Street lights will run on alternative mode after 10 P.M. It has been recommended that market hours be restricted further.
