Islamabad: Election Tribunal (ET) has declared null and void the notification of success of Syed Sami Ullah, JUI-F Member of National Assembly (MNA) from NA-251.

As per media reports, tribunal set up under Justice Muhammad Aamir Nawaz directed Election Commission (EC) to cancel the notification regarding success of Syed Sami Ullah and hold re-polling in 22 controversial polling stations of the constituency.

Khurshid Kakar, head of Pashtoonkhawa National Awami Party through his petition had leveled allegations of grave irregularities and fake voting in NA-251 (Zhob/Qilla Saifullah/Sherani ) during general election-2024.

He had demanded JUI-F candidate be deseated and he be declared successful candidate.

After hearing the case the tribunal ordered for re-polling in 22 controversial polling stations.
