Exhibition of European Photo-Journalist’s Book on Kashmir Held in Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad: A two-day exhibition of the pictorial book 'Kashmir: Wait and See' by renowned European photo-journalist C©dric Gerbehaye was held at the Prime Minister's House in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The exhibition was inaugurated by AJK Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.

The event was attended by the book's author C©dric Gerbehaye and Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) Ali Raza Syed, who is also organizing the book's introductory, promotional events and exhibitions in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Human rights activist Marjan Lucas from the Netherlands, Hungarian intellectual Andre B¡rcs, a Korean delegation, along with prominent personalities and government officials of Azad Kashmir, were also present.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore lauded the publication of the book and appreciated the efforts of C©dric Gerbehaye and KCEU Chairman Ali Raza Syed and his team in highlighting the Kashmir issue through visual documentation. He expressed hope that the book and its photographic exhibition would help expose India's atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and draw international attention to the long-standing unresolved Kashmir dispute.
