Islamabad: National Assembly (NA) speaker office has made it clear that facilitating the talks is job of the speaker and arranging meeting is not his responsibility.

Speaker office too has rejected the allegations of not giving replies to calls of PTI leaders saying PTI will have to make contact with Ishaq Dar or Rana Sana Ullah for meeting with PTI founder.

The stance of speaker National Assembly (NA) Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq has come to open.

Speaker office has said speaker's job is facilitating the talks. Arranging meeting is not his responsibility.

According to speaker's office Umar Ayoub and Sheikh Waqas Akram have made no call to speaker NA . Sher Afzal Murawat made request through voice message for his meeting with PTI founder.

Upon it speaker NA through his reply asked Sher Afzal Marwat to make contact with Rana Sana Ullah Khan.

According to speaker's office sources the role of speaker is only to facilitate the talks and not to arrange the meeting with PTI founder. It is not job of speaker to make decision or take responsibility for arranging meeting.

The request of Sher Afzal Marwat for meeting with PTI founder was sent to government.

Speaker office said Umar Ayoub and Sheikh Waqas Akram are giving wrong statement that speaker is not giving any reply. If there is no contact of PTI with speaker on mobile then they should contact speaker office. Speaker NA Ayyaz Sadiq is desirous of taking forward the talks process with good intent.

PTI will have to contact Ishaq Dar or Rana Sana Ullah in connection with meeting with PTI founder.
