Islamabad: Sessions Court Islamabad has sent to jail on judicial remand 40 workers of PTI arrested on charges of protest and chanting slogans at Faisal Avenue .
According to media reports the case registered against PTI workers in connection with protest, chanting slogans at Faisal Avenue in Islamabad and other clauses came up for hearing in district and sessions court Islamabad.
Police presented over 40 arrested PTI workers in the court.
Judicial magistrate Rizwan ud Din heard the case.
Police requested the court to grant 10 days physical remand in respect of the accused.
The counsel for the accused said CCTV cameras are there in the area which is stated to be location of incident. It can be seen with the help of these cameras that no one has closed the door.
Police arrested PTI workers two days before . Workers were kept in habeas corpus and they were presented in the court today.
The court while rejecting the plea for physical remand of the accused sent all of them to the jail on judicial remand.
