FATIMA SANA TO LEAD PAKISTAN IN ODI SERIES AGAINST ZIMBABWE, SQUAD ANNOUNCED


Islamabad: Pakistan women’s cricket team will be led by all-rounder Fatima Sana in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board.



The matches, part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29, are scheduled to take place at the National Bank Stadium on May 4, 6, and 9, with each game starting at 3:30pm PKT.



Pakistan currently sit fifth in the championship standings with two points following their earlier tour of South Africa.



The squad includes a mix of experienced players and fresh talent, with uncapped player Momina Riasat earning her maiden call-up. Zimbabwe’s women’s team is set to arrive in Karachi on April 29 for their first-ever tour of Pakistan, with training sessions scheduled from April 30 to May 3.



After the ODI series, both teams will compete in a three-match T20I series at the same venue on May 12, 14, and 15.



The full squad features Fatima Sana (captain), Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Gull Feroza, Momina Riasat, Muneeba Ali, Najiha Alvi, Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sidra Amin, Syeda Aroob Shah and Tasmia Rubab.
