Islamabad: Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) while suspending Sindh High Court (SHC) interim orders regarding inquiry against Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) , halting interviews of successful candidates and rechecking of papers of failed candidates has given a big relief to SPSC.
The court while issuing notice to the respondents adjourned the further hearing after summer vacations. Hafiz Ehsan Khokhar the counsel for commission took the plea during the hearing of the case SHC has exceeded its authority . According to constitution, decision cannot be given beyond the request made in the petition.
He said SHC has given final relief in its interim order. On the other hand the counsel for unsuccessful candidates has alleged SPSC has become hub of corruption and nepotism. High court has already ordered to abolish the commission in the past. It has been reactivated by forming new rules.
Justice Baqir Najafi remarked general allegations have no connectivity with the pending hearing case.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case after summer vacations.
