Federal cabinet approves proposed draft of 26th constitutional amendment

Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet has approved the proposed draft of the 26th constitutional amendment of the coalition parties including the Pakistan People's Party.According to a statement issued by Prime Minister Office, the Federal cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in which the Minister of Law and Justice again gave a detailed briefing on the 26th constitutional amendment.The federal cabinet has approved the proposed draft of the 26th constitutional amendment of the coalition parties including the Pakistan People's Party.Congratulating the entire nation on the approval of the 26th constitutional amendment by the cabinet, the cabinet took the decision in the wider interest of the country while adhering to the oath of national development and public welfare.A milestone has been achieved for the constitutional stability and rule of law. According to the promise made to the people, will continue to work for the development, prosperity and stability of the country.The Prime Minister thanked the leaders of the coalition parties and praised the efforts of Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister of Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar, Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Adviser to Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.
