Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned hearing of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand dam funds case for three weeks.The court said in its order federal government and WAPDA filed joint miscellaneous petition where by court was requested to transfer the amount collected in Supreme Court dam fund to WAPDA official account in National Bank. Federal government and WAPDA assured that dams funds amount will be spent purely on construction of dams. State bank should tell details with complete breakdown how much amount lies in dam funds. It is proper that former Attorney Generals Khalid Javed Khan and Anwar Mansoor Khan be summoned for assistance.Amicus curiae in dam funds case, Makhdoom Ali Khan should also appear in the court for assistance. on next hearing. The implementation report filed by WAPDA is made part of court record. Auditor General himself or through his representative should assist the court being the matter a financial matter.Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has remarked we hav e to resolve if the dams funds amount has to be kept in Supreme Court (SC) account or otherwise. We will resolve it in the case. We cannot build dam. Where is mentioned in constitution about powers of implementation bench. SC has not even powers to get implement its order. We are not reviewing . If we deem it necessary we can constitute five members bench.Justice Irfan Saadat Khan remarked this case has already been heard by five members bench.
