Peshawar: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, addressed the Pakistan Business Summit, highlighting the governmentls commitment to enabling private sectorldriven growth and structural reforms for sustainable economic stability.
He noted improved macroeconomic indicators, enhanced reserves, and growing investor confidence, alongside tax, energy, and SOE reforms. The Minister emphasized export-led growth, tariff rationalization, and initiatives to attract foreign investment, including Panda Bond issuance.
Aurangzeb identified climate change and population growth as long-term challenges and called for effective utilization of the national development budget to strengthen infrastructure and social sectors.
