Lahore: In line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision of a digital Punjab, the provincial government has launched the Chief Minister IT Internship Programme to connect IT graduates with industry opportunities.Under the program, selected interns will receive a scholarship of Rs. 50,000 per month during the five-month internship. IT graduates domiciled in Punjab who have completed their degrees in the last four years can apply online at cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk.The internship aims to provide hands-on training in skills and technologies aligned with market needs and offers the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and experts.Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that Punjab is being guided toward a new path of development by transforming it into an IT hub. She added that the Nawaz Sharif IT City project will serve as a game-changing initiative in this regard.
