Islamabad: Funeral prayer in absentia for martyred Chairman of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas's Political Bureau Dr. Ismail Haniyeh was offered at the Parliament House on Friday.The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of people including Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan, former prime minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, Federal Ministers Attaullah Tarar Advocate, Chaudhry Azam Nazeer Tarar Advocate, PTI leader Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party MNA Awn Saqlain Chaudhry, Syed Naveed Qamar, Mir Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Engineer Ali Muhammad Khan, Abdul Qadir Patel, Ahmed Raza Maneka, along with other political leaders and officials.The funeral prayer was offered after Friday prayers at the Parliament House. Khateeb of the Parliament House Mosque Qari Ahmedur Rehman led the funeral prayers. Later, special prayers were offered for high ranks of the martyred Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.During the National Assembly session on Friday, NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had announced offering of the funeral prayer in absentia for Ismail Haniyeh at the Parliament House Mosque after Friday prayers.
