Islamabad: The central leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has been informed about the written demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

PML-N is still consulting on how to respond to these demands.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and committee member Rana Sanaullah have briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the entire situation.

Rana Sanaullah has called PTI's written demands a "charge sheet" against the government.

Although the demands were asked for in writing, PTI has also provided their own Terms of Reference (TORs).

The Terms of Reference (TORs) will be provided only if the government agrees to a judicial commission.

So far, the government has not agreed to this. According to PML-N sources, it is the committee's job to provide the TORs, not PTI's.

PTI has also sought opinions from members of allied parties on their demands. The government will inform the Speaker of its written response to these demands this week.

In the third committee meeting, the government requested seven working days to respond.

Once the response is received, the Speaker will call the fourth committee meeting.
