Gilgit-baltistan: Governor Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Syed Mehdi Shah has approved summary of 12-member provincial cabinet on the recommendation of Chief Minister (CM) Amjid Hussain. Provincial cabinet comprises 8 ministers from PPP and 4 from Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP).

Notification regarding 12-member cabinet of GB Assembly has been issued. 5 ministers have been taken from Baltistan division, 5 from Gilgit division and 2 from Diamir division.

According to circular, Muhammad Ali Akhtar, Iqbal Hassan, Nasir Ali Khan, Syed Jalal, Muhammad Nasim, Syed Tauqir Mehdi, Naik Nam Karim and Zulfiqar Murad from PPP have become ministers.

The ministers taken from IPP are Muhammad Dilpazir, Aman Ali, Asad Shafiq and Anwar Ali.

The ministers will be allocated portfolios later.

Notification regarding formation of cabinet will be issued by cabinet department after approval from governor.
