Lahore: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan visited the residence of Punjab Police officer Muhammad Qadeer, a brave police officer, who was martyred in the line of duty while valiantly exchanging fire with robbers.The Governor Punjab met the family of Shaheed Muhammad Qadeer and extended his condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyred.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of peace in the country are the pride of the entire nation. He said that he pays tributes to the martyrs of all security forces, adding that due to their eternal sacrifices, we sleep peacefully in our homes. The Governor of Punjab said that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain and the Pakistani nation will take the lead in the great mission to rid Pakistan of terrorism. He said that the people of the entire country, including Punjab, are standing united against the terrorists. The Governor of Punjab said that the enemies of peace are also enemies of Pakistan's progress and prosperity. He also paid tributes to the IG Police Punjab for standing against terrorists despite difficulties. The Governor of Punjab assured the families of the martyrs of full cooperation at all levels. He appealed to the public to cooperate with the police personnel on duty.
