Islamabad: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nahal Hashmi in Islamabad.

The Governor of Sindh commended the Prime Minister for his efforts toward a ceasefire between the United States and Iran and for ongoing initiatives for regional peace, while expressing his best wishes. During the meeting, the Governor of Sindh briefed the Prime Minister on matters pertaining to Sindh.

Meanwhile Governor of Sindh, Nehal Hashmi called on the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday.

Ishaq Dar congratulated the Governor on assuming office on 13 March 2026 and extended best wishes for a successful tenure. They exchanged views on matters related to governance, economic development, and public welfare.

DPM/FM underscored the federal government’s commitment to continued cooperation and support to promote progress and development in the provinces.
