Islamabad: The government has announced special arrangements to facilitate contact between the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his children on the occasion of Eid, maintaining past traditions.
According to Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, the PTI founder, Imran Khan, will be allowed to speak with his children via telephone on Eid day.
The minister stated in a post on X that arrangements for the special communication have been finalized.
He further announced that the children of the PTI founder have been granted permission to visit Pakistan. As Pakistani citizens, they will not require visas on their NICOP and will be facilitated for entry into the country.
However, the government emphasized that during their stay, all applicable laws must be strictly followed.
The development is being seen as an important political gesture ahead of Eid, reflecting evolving dynamics in the country's political landscape.
