Govt considering to reduce market timing: Petroleum minister

Islamabad: Minister for petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has said government is considering to reduce market timing all over the country. Talking to a private T V channel here he said if decision is implemented then the marriage halls and restaurants will have to be closed till 10 p.m He said that finance minister will go abroad next week for meetings with IMF and World Bank and inform them about the prevailing economic situation.

He said UAE placed deposits of 3.5 billion dollars in Pakistan at difficult time. If their return is demanded then full preparations are there in this regard. He said due to suspension of gas supply from Qatar 400 to 500 MCC FD Gas is being supplied from the local gas fields immediately.
