Islamabad: Government has decided to deport foreign nationals living in Pakistan illegally.

Section 14-B of foreign act will be applied for return of under trial Afghan nationals.

According to interior ministry those who have completed sentence or whose cases are running will also be returned.

Interior ministry made it clear validity of the Proof of Registration (PoR) cards expired on June 30, and any stay in Pakistan after that date is considered illegal.

The interior ministry has issued directives that foreign nationals staying illegally be arrested and expelled.

Interior ministry has issued directives to district administration, police, jail administration and other authorities.
