ISLAMABAD:Government has decided to extend scope of intelligence based operations against terrorism.

As per media report, a meeting on national and internal security was held under the Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

KP governor Faisal Kundi gave detailed briefing on the steps taken so far in different sectors.

Law and order situation in 12 districts was reviewed in the meeting.

PM emphasized improving coordination and communication between federal, provincial, and law enforcement agencies.

As per sources the performance of ARDC so far also came under consideration in the meeting.

The implementation of Rs 160 billion package from federation to KP was also reviewed in the meeting.
