Islamabad: Government has decided to launch special polio campaign in 79 districts in all over the country this month. As per media reports the anti polio campaign will continue from May 18 to May 24 in specific districts.

National Polio Emergency Operation Centre (NPEOC) has fixed targets for special campaign. Polio drops will be administered. This special campaign of May will be organized in Pakistan and Afghanistan simultaneously.

Polio drops will be administered to 6190000 children in 10 specific districts of Punjab, 5790000 children in 20 districts of Sindh, 4610000 children in 23 districts of KP , 1990000 children in 25 specific districts of Balochistan and 450000 children in Islamabad. NPEOC has said it is corporate national responsibility to provide secure future to children.
