Islamabad: Government has decided to implement Digital Fuel Management System (DFMS) on petrol pumps. As per media report the government has made full preparation to come out of petrol crisis in view of tense situation in Middle East.

Decision has been made to implement DFMS on petrol pumps. Petrol quota will be fixed for private vehicles of the citizens.

IT ministry has completed the scrutiny of mobile phones . Testing of application prepared for fuel management on petrol pumps has been completed. Details regarding the project have been provided by Ministry of IT to cabinet division .

The cost of mobile phone to be provided to petrol pumps will be Rs 72000. The amount in connection with mobile phones will be provided by the oil marketing companies.
