Islamabad: Federal government has decided to review the agreement with more 8 IPPs.According to sources the decision was taken on the recommendations of special task force under special assistant Muhammad Ali.According to federal government sources agreements with IPPs will be reviewed.The review process in respect of 8 IPPs will save billion of rupees of national exchequer. Payments being made to IPPs under capacity payment head will be stopped.Federal cabinet had recently revoked agreements with 5 IPPs recently.
