Islamabad: Government has decided to set up Cyber Security Authority (CSA) at federal level.
As per media reports IT ministry has worked out elementary draft of Cyber Security Act and sent it to the stake holders for consultation for establishment of CSA.
According to Ministry of IT, National Cyber Security Policy provides framework for country wide digital security. Implementation on policy is underway as per Digital Economy Enhancement Program.
It has been told in the documents of ministry of IT progress has been made on the projects related to secure data exchange letter and digital identity. Data of NADRA, FBR and Telecom has been declared a key digital infrastructure.
As per authorities the authority will propose cyber security steps for key infrastructure.
Cyber Security Authority will too implement cyber security measures all over the country.
