Islamabad: Five judges of Islamabad High Court (IHC) have filed their replies in Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench in important constitutional case of judges transfer and seniority alleging that federal government has given wrong statement in the court with reference to transfer of judges.

Several most important questions have been raised in the written reply.

The reply was presented in the court through counsels Munir A Malik and Rafaqat Hussain Wednesday.

It was said in the written reply while alleging government wrong statement has been given with reference to matter of transfer of judges.

It was said in the reply wrong claim was made during the consultation that there is no representation of all provinces in Islamabad High Court.

Even chief justice was not informed that new judges will assume their office without oath taking.

It was raised objection on the matter judges were transferred soon after name of justice Amir Farooq was proposed for Supreme Court which is a meaningful thing.

It has been made clear in the reply this is not personal nature issue before SC but it is a principled and constitutional question.

Question has been raised in the reply can federal government affect one high court this way on the basis of ill intent.
