Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the government is utilizing all available resources to ensure equal opportunities for youth in employment, entrepreneurship, education and skills development.
He was talking to Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who called on him in Islamabad today.
The Prime Minister said providing quality education and professional training to the youth is among the government’s top priorities. He emphasized that equipping young people with modern technology, artificial intelligence, digital skills and entrepreneurial capabilities is the need of the hour.
He said a skilled workforce plays a pivotal role in strengthening the country’s economy, industry and social development. The Prime Minister reaffirmed that educated and skilled youth are the guarantors of Pakistan’s bright and prosperous future.
During the meeting, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of various initiatives being implemented under the Youth Programme. Shehbaz Sharif directed that a comprehensive and effective strategy be pursued under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme to create employment opportunities for young people.
