Islamabad:Rana Sana Ullah advisor to Prime Minister (PM) while referring prime minister invitation to PTI and opposition for talks has said government has kept the door to talks open , however this offer will not be allowed to be made tactics for acceptance of demands by holding the state hostage in any way.
No compromise will be made on state writ or national interest, he said while addressing a press conference here Wednesday.
He held PM has extended offer to opposition and PTI for talks. Government believes resolution of political matters through dialogue. However no compromise will be made on state writ and national interest.
He indicated more than twelve years have passed political tension was started in 2014. PTI is persistently moving ahead this agenda. However no demand can be accepted through political instability.
He said government has not shut doors to talks. PM has extended invitation to PTI and opposition for talks a day before. But no one will be allowed to hold the state hostage for acceptance of their demands
Blockading Islamabad has been way of PTI politics. PTI is once again trying to mount Islamabad. All the resources of PTI government are being used for political motives.
PTI has introduced the culture of abuses in politics.
On one side bodies of customs, law enforcement agencies . armed forces and police personnel and citizens are there who were martyred in terror related incidents and on the other hand provincial government kept on pursuing the people to assemble by beating the drums and chanting slogans.
These people could not assemble a few thousand people for Long Hazar since so many days.
The stance of Suleman Akram Raja is wrong and baseless in regard to failure of talks.
The entire nation is agreed on policy against terrorism except PTI, How many meetings of apex committee have been held by KP Chief Minister. Only one meeting was held.
He remarked this impression is being given that a new operation is going to be conducted and new Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will be created . No new IDPs will be created . Intelligence based operations will continue. Field Marshal Asim Munir and federal government have made the stance clear in this regard.
The adviser further said Saudi Arabia, Qatar, China and Trkiye had tried to convince the Afghan regime not to allow its territory to be used against Pakistan. He said Pakistan's position had been acknowledged, but guarantees had not been provided.
KP government should fulfill its legal and constitutional obligations, he added. Provincial government should send its police to the areas the security forces are clearing.
Responding to a question he said there was no deadlock on the matter of treatment of PTI founder.
