Govt will not take initiative for talks with PTI now: Senator Irfan Siddiqui

Islamabad: PML-N leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui has said the weather of extending invitation for talks is over and government will not take initiative now for holding talks with PTI.

He said this while talking to media men here Wednesday.

Keeping the door to talks open does not mean extending invitation. Not closing the doors to talks also does not imply we are waiting.

He underlined it depends on PTI now that it wants serious and result oriented talks when.

When PTI heart is filled with public meetings and May 9 like incidents and they feel now serious talks are required then they should come and sit with us. Now we will not extend any invitation.

He underscored PTI leadership is helpless. They don't know what will be stance of Imran Khan on what matter.

Imran Khan has now started writing letters. It is heard he is writing third letter too. In fact civilian supremacy has never remained objective of Imran Khan.
