Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar Advocate says Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif's vision for the youth is centered on providing them with the best education to make them empowered and self-reliant.
Attaullah Tarar expressed these views while addressing the convocation of Leads University in Lahore via video link on Sunday.
The Minister said that around 60 percent of Pakistan's population comprises youth, and the government's top priority is to facilitate and empower them.
He mentioned the recent initiative to distribute 100,000 laptops among talented students, saying this program will help them enhance their skills, explore better opportunities, and bring honor to the country.
Attaullah Tarar congratulated the graduating students and their parents, expressing his best wishes for their future endeavors and success.
He also extended congratulations to the faculty and staff of Leads University for their dedication to imparting quality education, noting that teaching is the noblest of professions and those associated with it deserve utmost respect and appreciation.
