Islamabad: Graduation ceremony for Palestinian students who received scholarships under Alkhidmat Foundation was held in Islamabad.

The event was attended by the Central President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman; the Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan, Dr. Zuhair Muhammad; and the Vice-Chancellor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Dr. Tanveer Khalid, as special guests.

During the ceremony, the faces of the Palestinian students were filled with joy, and they performed their traditional dance. Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman administered the graduation oath to the students in Arabic. In his address, he said that the students from Gaza had honored Alkhidmat and the people of Pakistan by choosing to study here, and for that, they were deeply grateful.

He extended thanks to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ministry of Interior, the Pakistani Embassy in Cairo, and all relevant government institutions for their valuable support in bringing Palestinian students to Pakistan. He also appreciated the role of donors, praying for their well-being.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman shared that through the partnership between Alkhidmat Foundation and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, 35 students have graduated so far, and Alkhidmat is now working to arrange house jobs for these medical graduates. He further said that Alkhidmat is currently hosting 404 Palestinian students.

During his recent visit to Egypt, he met with students from Gaza and visited several universities. He announced that in the near future, 600 more students will be offered scholarships and brought to Pakistan, where Alkhidmat will host them.

The ceremony featured highly emotional scenes, and speakers warmly congratulated the Palestinian students on their graduation. Among those present were Dr. Saad Zafar, Altaf Sher; Colonel (R) Saifur Rehman; Major Mumtaz Siddique; as well as faculty members and a large number of students.
